Day 1: Trevignano-Rome-Viterbo-Orvieto-Chianciano

Description of the day:

Let's start our journey, you've picked up your rented BMW motorcycle from Tourent and now you are ready to discover Tuscany, but there's also so much to see between Rome and Chianciano.
The lake of Bracciano in one of them, the first stop where you can enjoy the crystal clear water of Anguillara and Trevignano, Sutri with its amphitheatre, or Viterbo and the Palace of the Popes.
You are spoiled for choice, but don't think too much about it, Orvieto awaits down the road, and it demands its space: build on a rock of tuff, it's a unique beauty.
Feeling like going somewhere less famous? Civita di Bagnoregio, the dying city, is what you're looking for.
To end the day properly, relax in the hot springs of Chianciano, where you can rest after your long trip.

Total: 200 km, approximately 4 h on the motorcycle.

The second day is entirely dedicated to the discovery of the hills and villages of Tuscany.
Ready yourself, we have a spectacular travel plan that will take you on a sensory journey on roads that conquer every biker's heart..
Starting from Chianciano we head North. Today the only straight road will be the driveway of the hotel.
First stop, Montepulciano, the first of a number of villages, each unique in its own way, but all sharing the passion for the production of fine wine and olive oil.
Let yourself be charmed by the beauty of the landscape, the order of the vineyards, breathe in all the different smells you will encounter on the way. The hills of Chianti are the perfect place to go to for a motorcycle ride.
Before heading back to Chianciano, you can stop in Siena to visit its gem : Piazza del Campo.
It is finally time to head back to the hotel for the day, and the view of the sunset over Cal d'Orcia will be an unforgettable experience.

Description of the day:

Ever heard of the Etruscans? This Italian population lived in the area between Lazio and Tuscany between the 8th and 1st centuries B.C. , leaving lots of well hidden evidence of their society.
Today's itinerary will lead you through Tuscia tracing Etruscan history. Without leaving the lush green nature of the centre of Italy you will travel to Tuscania, where you can decide whether to visit the archaeological park of Vulci or go to the sea.
Although Tarquinia is famous for its beautiful town centre, the magnificent painted tombs are the real attraction here, perfectly kept and to be admired.
From here, we say farewell to the sea and head back to Rome, riding along the last bends in the road.
